I was very pleased with the care given by the My Care Matters workers. They were friendly but professional. They knew their job and they did it with kindness and respect. I would recommend them to anyone needing 24 hour care.

My mom required 24-hr in home care after a hospital stay. She has Alzheimer's and it was determined that she could no longer be on her own. She was on the waitlist for subsidized long-care but it was going to be a wait. The caregivers from My Care Matters were excellent. We had a rotating shift of 2 caregivers per day (12 hr shifts) and got to know 4 or 5 different staff members over the last 6 months. It was comforting to have a regular group of caregivers so that Mom wasn't having to meet new people all the time. The caregivers kept us up to date if there was shopping needed or any concerns about Mom's wellbeing and the Supervisor Jan was particularly helpful and responsive to any issues. He also visited Mom on a few occasions and got to know her and her situation. I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again, should the need arise.

7 months ago, caregivers from My Care Matters were assigned to provide 24 hour care for my 94 year old husband while he waited at home for a long term care bed. He had a number of health problems, including dementia and poor mobility. His health had been declining for several years, and I had been his sole caregiver until last year, when I began receiving some respite support. While I felt relieved at the prospect of 24 hour support, I also felt apprehensive about it. My husband and I had always enjoyed the privacy of our home, and now we would be sharing it 24 hours a day with people we had never met. It turned out that there was no reason to be apprehensive. The caregivers from My Care Matters were knowledgable and experienced. They provided my husband with excellent care, and were patient with him (and me) when he was difficult and uncooperative. And they were so kind and thoughtful and helpful, day in and day out, that it was a pleasure to have them here, and a sad day when we said good-bye.

The Caregivers at My Care Matters have been wonderful in caring for my 91 year old friend-like-mother. They are friendly, knowledgeable and are very dedicated. I also like how easy it is getting hold of the owner. He is very flexible in his availability to answer your questions and concerns.
